Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd to set up 2000 MW Talwandi Sabo Thermal Power Project near Banawala Village in Manasa district of Punjab. The land requirement for the project is estimated as 2097 acres. Additional land will be required for railway corridor, railway siding and road strengthening. Water requirement is estimated as 100 cusecs and will be met from Bheni sub branch of Kotla Canal Branch at a distance of about 20 km.
