GVK Power (Goindwal Sahib) Limited to set up 2x300 MW Coal based TPP at Goindwal Sahib Village in Tarantaran in Punjab. The total land requirement is 715 acres. Coal requirement is estimated as 7173 TPD at 100% PLF, which will be obtained from captive coal mine in Tokisud north sub block in Jharkhand. Water requirement is 49248 m3/day from river Vyas.
