Pragati Power Corporation to expand Pragati-III combined cycle project at Bawana Industrial Area of Delhi from its current 1000 MW to 1600 MW. PPCL has now proposed to expand this capacity from 1000 MW to 1600 MW by installation of advance class gas turbines. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 64000 million. It may be noted, Sultanpur Dabas and Ghoga Reserve Forests are at 5.5 Km and 3.5 Km distance from the site respectively.
