Mangilall Rungta to set up 60 MW coal based thermal project at Tulsidiha

Mangilall Rungta to set up 60 MW coal based thermal project at Tulsidiha in Dhenkanal district of Orissa. The power generated will be used for captive consumption for its ferro alloy plant. The land already available is 53.8 acres and the power plant will be set up using about 1.6 ha of land. Coal requirement is 0.31 million TPA at 90% PLF. Water requirement is 7200 m3/day.

Jindal India Thermal Power to set up 2x660 MW Thermal Power Project at Dereng in Angul district of Orissa. The proposed new site is close to the coal block at a distance of 5 km as compared to 60 km earlier. Coal transportation will be through conveyor system. Sub critical technology will be adopted. Land requirement is 1100 acres. Water requirement is 40 cusecs, which will be obtained from Brahamani river, upstream of Samal Barrage by a 12 km long pipeline.

Birla Tyres to set up 7.5 MW Expansion of Thermal Power Project at Balasore

 

 Birla Tyres to set up 7.5 MW Expansion of Thermal Power Project at Chhanpur,Kuruda  in Balasore district in Orissa. The total area of the tyre plant is 193.232 acres, out of which 75 acres is for greenbelt.  The proposed plant will be located in an area of 5.25 acres, which includes 3.75 acres for ash pond.  Coal will be obtained from Mahanadi Coalfield through e-auction. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 360 million.
