Haryana Power Generation Corporation to set up 1320 MW (2x660 MW) Coal based Thermal Power Project at Jhajjar in Haryana. The coal requirement is estimated as 6.76 million TPA at 90% PLF. Coal linkage has been obtained. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 53000 million. It may be noted, is located 17 kms away from Bhindavas Wildlife Sanctuary .
