Adani’s Mundra power plant to begin power generation by April end

Adani Mundra mega power project of 4630 MW is all set for phased commissioning. Its first turbine of 330 MW is likely to be commissioned by April 2009. The project has 5 x 660 MW turbine and 4 x 330 MW and the company has plans to commission one 330 turbine every quarter and its 660 MW turbine plant is scheduled for commissioning by June 2010. This project was conceived 27 months and one of the few projects which gets into operation this early.
