Raymond plans 7.2 MW gas project in Khadki

The company is planning to take up setting up of 1×7.2 MW Gas Based Captive Power Plant at village Khadki, in Pardi Taluk, in Valsad District , in Gujarat. The project is located at a distance of 5.0 Km from Daman. Land requirement will be 0.2718 acres, which is within the textile unit. Fuel requirement would be 60,000 SM3/day natural gas. Water requirement would be 5KL/day and sourced from the Kotak Creek at a distance of 1.0 km North from project site. Existing water allocation will suffice the water requirement for the proposed captive power plant. This Creek has no tidal impact and is much more of a fresh water body. Natural gas will be obtained from existing Gujarat State Petroleum Corpn. Ltd. (GSPC) Gas Station.
