ACB India plans 600 MW thermal plant in Raigarh

ACB is implementing a 2 x 300 MW coal-based thermal power plant at Nawapara Village in the Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh. The project is owned by TRN Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACB (India) Limited. ACB holds 51% stake in TRN Energy.

The total land requirement for project is approximately 548 acres out of which about 160 acres land is acquired which is adequate for the main island of the project. Coal and Water linkage has been obtained.

Latest News

The proposed commissioning date of the first unit is September 2013 and the second unit is December 2013. The company has place orders for equipment with BGR Energy Systems Ltd, where the contract is worth of Rs.16980 million.
