ACB India to set up phase II 50 MW Ratija project

ACB India is developing one more 1 x 50 MW blended coal fired power project in the Korba district, Chhattisgarh, under the second phase of the Ratija Power Project through Spectrum Coal and Power Limited which is wholly owned subsidiary of ACB (India) Limited.

The project site is located adjacent to the existing coal beneficiation operations of the company in the Ratija village. The total land requirement for the Ratija Power Project (Phases I and II) is approximately 169 acres. The primary fuel for the Project will be coal rejects blended with raw coal in the ratio of 78 parts of coal rejects to 22 parts of raw coal. Raw coal obtained through linkage will be blended with the coal rejects generated from their beneficiation plants in the area. The blended coal rejects will be used at the project. Secondary fuel in the form of light diesel oil will be required to start up the coal fired boilers, which we intend to source
