Uttar Pradesh Power Corp to set up 1980 MW coal based project in Dudhi

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd is planning to set up a 3X660 MW Coal Based Super Critical Thermal Power Plant at village s Babhani & Dagdaua, in Dudhi Taluk, in Sonebhadra District , in Uttar Pradesh.

Land requirement will be 1475 acres, which comprises of 37.065 acres of forests land; 165.56 acres of double crop agricultural land; 736.37 acres of single crop agricultural land and 543 acres of waste land. About 660 homestead ousters and 493 land ousters may be involved. Coal requirement will be 9.7 MTPA. Water requirement will be 60 cusec, which will be obtained from Govind Bhalabh Pant Sagar.
