Simbhaoli Power to set up captive power plant in Chilwaria

Simbhaoli Sugars is planning to increase its captive power plant at Simbhaoli and Chilwaria in Uttar Pradesh. The company has formed a special purpose vehicle 'Simbhaoli Power Ltd' to implement the project. It will add a new 15 MW power plant at Chilwaria and expand the existing power plant in Simbhaoli by another 18 MW. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 2000 million. It may be noted, Simbhaoli Sugars had entered into a joint venture with Sindicatum Sustainable Resources Group (Sindicatum), a global developer and operator of clean energy projects

 

Sravanthi Energy setting up 225 MW gas project in Kashipur

Sravanthi Energy Pvt. Ltd. (SEPL) SEPL is developing a Gas Based combined cycle power plant of 225 MW capacity on BOO basis near Khaikhera Village in Kashipur Tehsil, District Udham Singh Nagar, State Uttrakhand. The proposed project is located close to the main Gas trunk-line through which gas is drawn to the project.

The power evacuation is envisaged through a transmission line to be connected to PTCUL substation before connecting to northern grid at Bareilly (UP). This project is identified as a fast track project by the group where in all principle clearances are in place.

Bajaj Power Generation plans 3x800 MW coal project in Bargarh

Bajaj Power Generation is planning to set up a 3×800 MW Super Critical Coal Based Thermal Power Plant of at village Bargarh, in Mau Taluk, in Chitrakoot District in Uttar Pradesh Land requirement for the project will be 1850 acres. The domestic coal requirement will be 9.51 MTPA. Whereas Imported coal requirement will be 8.0 MTPA. Area requirement for ash pond/dyke will be 225 acres. Water requirement will be 8050 m3/hr, which will be sourced from the Yamuna River through a Intake well pipeline at a distance of 12.5 km from the project site.
