ONGC plans 2200 MW gas power plant in Tokrale

ONGC Ltd is planning to set up a 2200 MW gas based thermal power plant in Kelwa-Mahim gram in Tokrale Panchayat in Palghar Tehsil in Thane district of Maharashtra. The company will also be setting up a gas processing plant with the following capacity (lean gas for power generation 8.54 mmscmd, LPG 777 tpd, naphtha 1035 tpd, kerosene 444 tpd, HSD 362 tpd). Water requirement is likely to be met from Surya river /surface or from a desalination plant.

Lokmangal Mauli Industries to set up 30 MW cogeneration plant in Lohara

Lokmangal Sugar & Ethanol Industries is planning to expand its existing 15 MW power plant to 30 MW at its sugar mill in Bhandarkavathe in Solapur district of Maharashtra. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 1713 million.

Bhandara Thermal Power to set up 1320 MW power project in Mohadi

Bhandara Thermal Power Corp Ltd, a step down subsidiary of Gayatri Group is planning to set up a 2x660 MW thermal power project in Mohadi in Bhandra district of Maharashtra. The company is in the process of land acquisition and has sought linkage for coal.
