Corporate Power Ltd to set up 4x135 MW Coal based Thermal Power Plant at Village Bana in Latehar district of Jharkhand. The project involves setting up of 540 MW units using washery meddling / rejects at the cost of 27,263.67 million (INR). The land requirement will be 750 acres. Total fuel requirement for the CFBC based project, considering the GCV: 2700 kcal/kg and SHR: 2500 Kcal/kWh at 85% PLF is 3.72 MTPA. The total water requirement is estimated as 2200 m3 /hr to be obtained from river Damodar.

Inland Power to set up 2x63 MW thermal power plant at Tonagatu

Inland Power to set up 2x63 MW thermal power plant at Tonagatu, Gola in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. The project will use CBFC technology. Coal, washery rejects and dolochar will be used as fuel. The land requirement is estimated as 100 acres. Water requirement is estimated as 19,400 m3/day, which will be obtained from Bhairvi river and Senegarha nallah.

Divine Vidyut to set up 20 MW captive power plant at Kaushalgarh

Divine Vidyut is planning to set up a 25 MW power plant which uses captive char,washery rejects Palgam and Kaushalgarh villages in Chandil Taluk in Sariaikela district in Jharkhand.
