Haryana Aban Power Company to set up 1065 MW Haryana Aban Power Project at Ballabhgarh in Faridabad district of Haryana. The project will be based on natural gas/re-gasified/LNG. No alternate fuel is proposed to be used in the power project. The total land requirement of the project is 91 acres. Gas supply will be made by GAIL from their existing Chhainsa Gas Distribution Station located at a distance of 3 Km and which is connected with Dahej- Vijaipur pipeline. Water requirement has been estimated as 1685 m3/hr and will be obtained from Gurgaon feeder Canal. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 34160 million.
NTPC to set up 3x500 MW Aravali Thermal Power Project at Village Jharli in Jhajjar district of Haryana. The land requirement for the project is 2170 acres. However, it is proposed to acquire 2223 acres which would include expansion of two additional units of 500 MW each at a later stage. Coal will be used as fuel and the requirement is estimated as 24353 TPD at 90% PLF which will be obtained from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. Water requirement is 5675 m3/hr, which will be obtained from Jawaharlal Feeder Canal. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 83031 million.
The Project is being executed by NTPC from concept to commissioning and subsequent Operation & Maintenance in Joint Venture with Coal linkage : Coal linkage of 6.94 Million Tonne Per Annum allocated from Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. By Ministry of Coal, Govt. of India.

Equity contribution : NTPC-50%, Haryana-25%, Delhi-25%.

Maruti Suzuki to set up 10x7 MW Gas turbine at Manesar in Gurgaon in Haryana. The plant will use gas as fuel, however, HSD will be used as standby fuel in emergency when gas is not available. Gas requirement will be 1580 m3/day. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 3890 million.
