Gujarat Paguthan Energy Corporation to add 3x350 MW Gas based Combined Cycle Power Plant at Bharuch. Gas requirement for the project will be 1.2 MMTPA which will be supplied through existing pipelines and no other fuel will be used. Water requirement for the project will be 50,429 m3/day and shall be sourced from river Narmada through existing pipelines. Total land requirement for expansion project is 45 ha which is available within the existing premises.
Adani Power to set up 2x330 MW Imported Coal Based Thermal Power Project at Tunda in Kutch district of Gujarat. The imported coal requirement is estimated as 6000 TPD, which will be received through Mundra Port and transported from port to the site by MGR rail system. The water requirement is estimated as 1,72,848 m3/day, which will be met from seawater. Desalination plant is likely to be set up. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 22800 million.
