Dalmia Power plans 1320 MW coal based project in Banka

Dalmia Power is planning to set up a 1320 MW coal based thermal power project in Dona Village in Banka district of Bihar. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 79600 million. The project has received the state government approval and is currently in planning stage.

• Expected date of commissioning- Jan-2014.

4×660 MW Super Critical Coal Based Thermal Power Plant of at village s Sand Majhgawan Panchayat of Nawada and Pharka & Nagwan Panchayat of Gaya, in Sand Majhgawan& Naudiha Taluk, in Nawada and Gaya Districts, in Bihar

The proposal is for setting up of 4×660 MW Super Critical Coal Based Thermal Power Plant at village s Sand Majhgawan Panchayat of Nawada and Pharka & Nagwan Panchayat of Gaya, in Sand Majhgawan& Naudiha Taluk, in Nawada and Gaya Districts, in Bihar. Land requirement will be 1250 acres, out of which 352 acres is stated to be single crop agricultural land; 81 acres revenue land; and 617 acres waste land. Coal requirements will be 12.42 MTPA. Coal will be obtained from domestic coal block through CCL Coal mine. Area requirement for ash/pond dyke will be 200 acres.

Mirach Power to set up 1320 MW thermal project in Lakhisarai

M/s MIRACH Power Pvt. Ltd, Gurgaon is planning to set up 2 x 660 MW coal fire Thermal Power Project at Lakhisarai distt. In Bihar.

Project Details

Approval accorded by SIPB in its 89th meeting dated 11.08.2010

MoU signed on 16.11.2010 for a validity of 13 (Thirteen) months.

Water requirement 40 Cusecs (Approx.) permitted to draw from River Ganga from WRD, GoB in September 2010.

BSEB shall have the first right to claim to purchase / refusal of power up to 25 % maximum from the proposed power plant.

Total investment- Rs.73,600 million

Land required- 1000 acres.
